Ronald Lam has over 20 years of business management
experience in the construction, engineering,
architectural and information technology fields. In
2008, he decided to add the world of the performing arts
to this experience when he teamed up with Ms. Isla
MacKillop to found Isla School of Dance.
Mr. LamíŽs first priority is to provide students with
the finest dance space and facilities available.
He is the interior designer of the school and is
in charge of the 4,500 sq. ft. premises. He
decided to build two multi-functional dance studios with
top quality flooring systems by Harlequin and Junckers
which are specially made for ballet and dance.
The flooring is slip resistant and bactericidal,
creating a safe and comfortable environment which allows
students to concentrate on their art without fear of
falling or injury.
Besides the studios, other spacious amenities
include a warm-up area, changing area, waiting area and an office.
He is privileged to have the chance to contribute to the
Hong Kong performing arts scene and provide education
and nurture for our future dancers.
